Under the general supervision of the Underwriting Director, provides support to the small business lending team and management through the servicing of loans and the loan portfolio, managing the loan documentation process to ensure credit files are updated and complete and support customer inquiries and research. Position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Input new loan information into the loan system. Ensure lien recording information has be sent for UCCs, titles, and deeds of trusts. Work with the VP of Policy & Research in maintaining integrity of loan applicant and borrower data maintained in loan system.
Collect and review Pre-Closing Review documentation, complete Manual Check Request for Loan Advances, prepare and deliver Closing Documentation. Perform Post-Closing documentation review.
Create Loans in TEA, Key Data Outcomes in TEA Scan & File Closing Docs, Manage Funding Request (Review Invoices and Initiate wire request).
Prepare SBA Mod Request for Reallocation, Field Inquiries for Mod Requests/Payoffs, Provide Clients with payment Information, amortization schedules, and statements
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or other related field.
Individual must possess a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in commercial loan servicing; or the individual has a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in paralegal or similar work on behalf of banks, credit unions, real estate, or similar companies. Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
