Assist in the management of a portfolio of performing and non-performing SBA guaranteed loans. Provide support to the SBA Portfolio Administrators and SBA Portfolio Manager by performing a variety of administrative, production and accounting tasks. Perform general clerical duties to include saving data in borrower electronic files, compiling data from borrower files, etc. Duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the SBA Portfolio Management group. Supports manager an employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Must have the ability to effectively communicate by phone an email. May be responsible for special projects or specialized responsibilities.
5.Prepare demand letters for SBA Portfolio Manager review and approval
6.Prepare mailings and overnight shipping
7.Call and follow up for delinquent life insurance payments
8.Order title policies
9.Follow up with escrow company
10.Request flood certifications and UCC searches from Loan Servicing 11.Order OFAC and CAVRS
12.Obtain and review insurance for collateral as appropriate
13.Fill out forms to start foreclosure
14.Compile documents for SBA guaranty purchase
15.Scans, organizes and performs other clerical duties pertaining to compliance and maintenance of existing SBA loans
16.Follow up on outstanding items in order to facilitate completion of servicing action requests
17.Enters all required data for SBA loan files into software system
18.Assumes responsibility for special projects; gathers data and prepares reports for Senior Management, audits and other personnel.
19.Answers telephones, answers questions and directs callers to proper Bank personnel.

•High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
•2 years or more of clerical and SBA loan processing experience
•General understating of lending concepts
•Basic knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies.
•Intermediate skills in computer operation; word processing and spreadsheet software.
•Basic math skills; calculate interest and balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; count currency, coin and negotiable instruments in a timely manner.
•Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
•Ability to deal with routine problems involving multiple facets and variables in standardized situations.
•Good organizational and time management skills.
•Ability to work with general supervision while performing duties.
•Basic experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.
•Intermediate knowledge and understanding of SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
•Intermediate knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, Bank policies and procedures, and the Bank’s products and services.
•Current driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
